About

Preservation line include four operations: heating, blasting, coating and drying of workpieces. They are used to protect workpieces with thin layer of base coating during the storage and processing phase and to apply a primer before the final colour application.

The workpieces first move along the conveyor to the preheating chamber, where the surface of the workpieces is thoroughly dried and any excess moisture is removed. In addition, the workpieces are also heated, which ensures faster drying of the paint. Then they move further along the conveyor to the shot blasting machine, where the workpieces are cleaned of rust and scale. Gostol TST shot blasting machines are equipped with ir sm@rt blasting wheels that ensure high shot blasting efficiency. It is followed by painting in the basic colouring chamber, where the primer is applied. The final operation is drying of workpieces in the drying chamber.  

Different types of shot blasting machines, such as roller conveyor shot blasting machines (P type), tube, pipe and bars shot blasting machine (PC type) and pass-through monorail shot blasting machine (VPP type) can be installed in the lines.

Preservation line generally consist of a hydraulic loading device, a conveyor, pre-heating chamber, shot blasting machine, dust collector, basic colouring chamber, drying chamber, conveyor and a hydraulic unloading device. Depending on technological needs, it can be included in other lines that combine the following operations: straightening, cutting, welding, final painting, etc.
