Connecting knowledge and team spirit

11.10.2024

Last week we successfully held a two-day conference for our representatives. The event was held in a pleasant and professional atmosphere and brought together 25 representatives from 12 different countries. The aim of the conference was to educate, exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation between Gostol TST and the representatives.

Focus on education

The first day was dedicated to training and presenting new developments. Our staff presented several key topics including drum shot blasting machines, the Sm@rt cloud platform and options, and after-sales services.

We showcased the entire family od drum shot blasting machines, consisting of seven different types, along with the latest technological developments and innovations that give our customers a competitive edge in the market. With the Sm@rt cloud platform and options, we demonstrated how we can improve machine efficiency and reduce abrasive and electricity costs, while enabling faster access to data, machine control and optimisation of production processes. The focus in after-sales services was on the importance of maintenance of shot blasting machines and the possibility of replacing blasting wheels on existing machines.

Each topic was presented with interesting examples and practical solutions, giving our employees a better insight into the benefits our solutions bring to the market. After the formal part, we had opportunity for questions, discussions and exchange of views, which further enriched the educational part.

Showcasing advanced industrial solutions

One of the key highlights of the first day was the demonstration of universal robotic shot blasting machine, where we showed the representatives how the machine works and how efficiently it blasts workpieces. The demonstration highlighted the machine's flexibility and precision, using an advanced robotic arm to enable automated blasting of different workpieces. In addition, the Sm@rt mechatronic separator was demonstrated, which increases productivity and reduces maintenance costs. The representatives were also able to see DEM simulations, which are key to optimising process efficiency as they provide a detailed insight into particle dynamics during blasting. DEM simulations can be used to optimise the process, reduce wear and tear on individual machine parts and, as they allow testing of different scenarios and improvements, consequently reduce development costs and allow improvements to be implemented more quickly.

Team-building and networking

As part of the team-building, we organised a fun MasterChef challenge on the second day of the conference, which brought a lot of laughs and bonded our employees and representatives. Participants split into teams and tried their hand at preparing different dishes, where they had to combine creativity, organisational skills and collaboration. The challenge encouraged teamwork, communication and creative presentation, which are also key skills in the business world. The final products were judged on taste, presentation, creativity and teamwork. Despite the competitive spirit, the event created a relaxed atmosphere and enabled informal networking between the participants.

The winners of the challenge were the Green team, who cooked "Gostolaš". It's a Gostol version of goulash, with a touch of Germany, Egypt, Bulgaria, Norway and Slovenia. And it was probably this mix that contributed to the team's triumph.

The conference was a great success as it achieved our objective - to strengthen the bonds between the company and the representatives and to equip them with new skills that they can use in their work. At the same time, we further deepened our relationships through informal networking and topic-building. We look forward to future challenges and collaborations, confident that together we will continue to grow and succeed in the global marketplace.
