We have successfully completed the delivery and commissioning of a VK-3000x4500 spinner hanger shot blasting machine for a company engaged in the design, manufacture and supply of complete production lines for stone wool, as well as range of other services, including shotblasting. The machine will be used for shotblasting large welded structures that are an integral part of their industrial solutions.
The VK-3000x4500 machine is designed for the efficient shotblasting of heavier workpieces, which are hung on a rotating hook and transported into the machine via a Y-conveyor. The rotation of the workpiece in the abrasive jet ensures that even hard-to-reach surfaces to be thoroughly treated, resulting in a uniform surface finish.
The machine is capable of processing workpieces weighing up to 2000 kg, with a diameter of 3000 mm and a length of 4500 mm. It is equipped with six high-performance ir blasting wheels, each with a power output of 11 kW, enabling high processing efficiency.
Time savings and improved process control
An important technical upgrade of this machine is the semi-automatic adjustment of the abrasive flow, which further enhances automation and process optimization. The operator can easily adjust the abrasive flow via switches located on the electrical cabinet, without the need for manual regulation directly on the valves. This functionality significantly reduces the time required for adjustment, which is especially important for larger machines with multiple shot blasting wheels, where manual adjustments would be a major time-consuming factor. The result is quicker process adaptation and significant time savings.
The project was successfully implemented in cooperation with our representative for the Czech market, whose expertise and local presence played a key role in ensuring effective communication, precise technical specifications, and coordinated project execution.
