In Gostol TST we are proud of our latest achievement - the production of the largest roller conveyor shot blasting machine, type P-4200x400. This machine will be installed in Poland, where the client will use it to shotblast sheet metal, which is a key component in the construction of wind farm towers.
Although it is a typical standard roller conveyor shot blasting machine, which is one of our best-selling products, this project stands out for its size. The machine is designed for shotblasting of workpieces up to 4200 mm wide and is equipped with an input roller conveyor length of 32 meters and an output roller conveyor length of 40 meters. In addition, numerous additional options that optimize its operation, increase efficiency and ensure top results.
The machine was designed to meet the client's specific requirements, while also including options that improve performance in several key areas.
Upgrades that ensure top performance
The roller conveyor shot blasting machine type P-4200x400 has a number of built-in options that significantly contribute to optimizing production process and reducing costs:
- Energy savings: Electricity consumption represents 20 % to 25 % of the total blasting costs, the largest consumers being the blasting wheels, the abrasive recycling system, dust extraction and workpieces handling devices. With built-in energy efficiency options that can be monitored via the Sm@rt cloud platform, the machine enables precise control and cost reduction.
- Reduced abrasive consumption: Abrasive represents approximately 30 % of the total blasting costs. By using an automatic system for adding and by choosing the right abrasive, consumption costs are significantly reduced, while the service life of key machine components are extended.
- Easier planning and fewer production interruptions: Upgrades of the shot blasting machine, blasting wheels and dust collector ensure lower maintenance costs and greater reliability. This allows for more continuous production with fewer unforeseen interruptions, optimising uptime.
- Improving the shot blasting process: The quality of the shot blasting process has a significant impact on the final durability, apperance and adhesion of surfaces. Carefully selected options achieve more homogeneous results, less machine wear and shorter processing times, which increases the efficiency of the entire production process.
At Gostol TST, we are committed to innovation and the development of solutions that enable our customers to achieve greater efficiency, sustainability and competitiveness in their production processes. One of the proofs of our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is also roller conveyor shot blasting machine P-4200x400.
