Five decades of cooperation, trust and joint projects

06.11.2026

At Gostol TST, we have been working with our business partner, an internationally established manufacturer of forgings and hand tools, for five decades to identify suitable shot blasting solutions. Our partnership is built on listening to customer needs, sharing knowledge and understanding production processes. The delivery of a GG-500 rubber belt tumble blast machine in 2026 further confirms this long-standing trust.

Our business partner has more than a century of history. Its production combines various metal forming and machining processes, in which high-quality surface preparation also plays an important role.

Selecting the right shot blasting machine requires an understanding of workpieces, the requirements of subsequent processes and the organisation of production. Cooperation between the shot blasting equipment manufacturer and the user is therefore important from the initial identification of needs and remains essential throughout the use of the equipment.

Understanding production needs as a starting point for development

A long-standing partnership allows knowledge of the production environment and experience with the equipment to grow over time. As customer needs evolve, so do the requirements for capacity, processing methods and the integration of shot blasting machines into production.

Open technical dialogue plays an important role in our cooperation. The customer's knowledge of their own processes and our experience in shot blasting technology complement each other when identifying solutions for specific production requirements.

Listening to the customer means understanding what they want to achieve through shot blasting, the constraints they face in production and which equipment features matter most to them.

GPP and NB shot blasting machines for different processing methods

When developing new machines, we also keep our business partners' processes in mind. Two examples are the GPP continuous tumble blast machine and the NB rocking drum shot blasting machine, both suitable for processing this customer's products.

GPP: continuous passage of workpieces through the machine

The GPP continuous tumble blast machine provides a continuous, controlled flow of workpices through the machine. Its design avoids significant drops during transport and allows integration into an automated process.

NB: shot blasting with alternating drum rotation

During processing, the NB rocker barrel shot blasting machine, alternately rotates the drum to the left and right. This causes the workpieces to tumble and turn, exposing different surfaces to the abrasive stream. At the end of the cycle, the drum rotates into the discharge position.

Our long-standing cooperation gives us insight into how shot blasting equipment is used in practice and helps us identify opportunitites to develop new solutions.

Tumble blast machineGG-500: a new delivery in 2026

Our business partner also operates numerous tumble blast machines supplied by Gostol TST. In 2026, its equipment range was expanded with a GG-500 rubber belt tumble blast machine.

The GG-500 is designed for batch shot blasting of workpieces that can withstand mutual contact and tumbling. During blasting, the workpieces tumble on the rubber belt, exposing different surfaces to the abrasive stream.

We see the decision to purchase our equipment again as an expression of the trust we have built together over decades of cooperation. It also brings a responsibility to continue listening to the customer's needs and meeting their expectations.

A long-standing partnership in metal surface treatment

Behind almost five decades of cooepration are people, their expertise and their willingness to tackle challenges together. From the first deliveries to the development of new solutions and the latest tumble blast machine, our partnership has been built on open communication, technical cooperation and mutual trust.

We looked forward to new projects in which we will once again combine the customer's production experience with our expertise to deliver suitable surface treatment solutions.
