Through our branch in India, we have strengthened our presence in this Asian superpower, where Slovenia has proven to be an important European player. A company in India cannot be a copy of a Slovenian one
We decided to enter the Indian market with the aim of diversifying our business, but we soon realized that it could not be managed from Slovenia. Instead, with the help of European companies that were already operating in India and local partners, we established a company in which Gostol TST has a 51% stake. The Indian subsidiary now employs 80 people and is constantly growing. It was important to adapt to the local culture, as we quickly abandoned the idea of creating a copy of a Slovenian company. Mutual respect of cultures is key, which contributes to successful cooperation and strengthening of the Gostol TST brand in India.
