We were delighted to organize an Open day for retirees to show our former colleagues how the company is developing and growing. The event was an opportunity to reconnect with those who left their mark on our company and to show them the innovations and improvements that have marked our journey over the years.
Participants were first introduced to the design department, where ideas and designs for new blast machines are created. The head of design department gave them an overview of the team and the way we work in design department, as well as two current projects, which we later showed them in production. Certainly, a lot has changed since the days when they used to draw machine designs on tracing paper in the design department. The designers used pencils for the initial sketch, and then the "inkers" draw the final lines with technical ink. Today, computerised 3D modelling is used to quickly create accurate and detailed models. They also allow realistic visualisation of the final product and the performance of various simulations and analyses.
They were then guided through the entire production process, where they were able to see the different stages of production, from the initial preparation of the material, welding of the individual components of the machine, mechanical machining and the assembly of the individual components into a whole. In the production we also saw a P-4200x400 roller conveyor shot blasting machine, which will be delivered to a customer in Poland.
We also paid special attention to the presentation of two innovations: the Sm@rt abrasive separator and the universal robotic shot blasting machine.
The event was also an opportunity for relaxed socialising, reminiscing and sharing stories. Retirees praised our progress and our vision for the future. They stressed the importance of maintaining contact between generations and sharing knowledge and experience.
The Open day was a wonderful event that brought together the past, present and future of our company. We respect the contribution of our retirees, but we also wanted to show them how we continue their work with new ideas and technologies.
