Shot blasting machine testing: The key to an optimal solution

12.02.2025

We understand that every major investment comes with a certain level of uncertainty. That's why we are happy to offer potential buyers the opportunity to see our machines in operation at our business partners' facilities. In specific cases, when dealing with unique workpieces and special requirements, we also provide the option of on-site machine testing at the customer's location.

One such case involved a potential customer from Czech Republic operating in the automotive sector. Their company manufactures various components for the automotive industry, including braking systems, electronic systems for electric vehicles, axles for construction and agricultural machinery, as well as safety systems and chassis.

The potential customer was looking for the best solution for shotblasting brake callipers. Initially, they conducted tests on a tumble blast machine with the representative, but it did not meet their capacity requirements, mainly due to handling challenges. Therefore, we offered them the opportunity to test the GPP-400 continuous tumble belt blast machine, which is better suited to their needs.

3d simulacija

Before the testing, we first conducted a 3D simulation of the movement and tumbling of the workpieces inside the drum to verify the suitability of the continuous tumble belt blast machine for processing these parts. Once we confirmed that the GPP shot blasting machine was the best solution, we carried out tests at different speeds and amperages, allowing us to achieve optimal results. The testing confirmed our expectations that the GPP machine is the most suitable choice for this type of workpiece.

Such tests require significant involvement from all parties, including the potential buyer, the representative, and the business partner where the testing takes place. We recognize their importance, as only thorough testing can we ensure the best solution and optimal results for high-quality workpiece processing and the future user's satisfaction with the shot blasting machine.

Since this is a specialized machine that is not as commonly used as some other models, such testing is essential to achieving the best possible solutions.

Testing the universal robotic shot blasting machine

We currently have a universal robotic shot blasting machine in production, which utilizes a robotic arm for automatic workpiece manipulation. The machine is available for testing. Thanks to its adaptable gripper, which accommodates various shapes, sizes, and types of workpieces, it is suitable for a wide range of applications.
