Wire mesh belt shot blasting machine – KTP

Wire mesh belt shot blasting machine is mostly used to process medium to large die casting, pressure castings, forgings, heat-treated parts, automotive components, ferrous and non-ferrous castings, welded constructions, and fabrications. Parts can weight from 1 kg to 100 kg or more and are manufactured in medium and large series. KTP shot blasting machine is extremely versatile and built to remove remains of casting sand, rust, old paint, visible signs of welding and noble cutting, oxidized layer caused by thermal treatment, deburring, microhandling, increasing surface solidity, reducing impact of surface micro cuts, etc.

Treated objects are placed on a wire mesh belt conveyor going through the shot blasting machine and through jets of shot blasting media. Blasting wheels are installed at different angles. Wire mesh belt shot blasting machine housing is protected by wear-resistant manganese steel plates.

High efficiency of the blasting machine is enabled by the continuous abrasive handling and reclamation system for continued returning and cleaning of the shot blasting media, along with efficient blasting wheels made from wear-resistant materials. The KTP shot blasting machine’s size, number and power of the blasting wheels, length of wire mesh conveyor on the treated object’s loading and unloading site, width of the conveyor and frequency regulation of throwing wheels revolutions are done in accordance with the production capacity requirements and buyer’s work piece specifics. This type of shot blasting machine is intended for cleaning casts having remains of casting sand and cores are equipped with a vibration conveyor with a sieve and a magnetic cleaner of the shot blasting media.
