Continuous rocker barrel shot blasting machine is used for shotblasting workpieces of various shapes and weights up to 100 kg, as well as large series, which are suitable for continuous flow through the shot blasting machine. The machine is usually integrated into a linear transport system.
The workpieces are loaded with a lifting device (lift, forklift) or through a conveyor onto a vibratory conveyor at the entrance, which transports the workpieces into the machine, where they fall into an oscillating drum. The tilt of the drum is regulated by a hydraulic device for lifting and lowering. The drum is on the upper part open, which enables to direct a jet of abrasive from the blasting wheels, on the workpieces, which are shotblasted and transported through the drum.
Due to the rocking of the drum, during the continuous transport through the machine, the parts that are being shotblasted are mixed and turned, so that shotblasting is possible over the whole surface of the workpieces. At the exit, they are transported by means of a vibratory conveyor into suitable crates or onto a conveyor that leads to further operations.
