ERROR: Rotary hook cylinder not closed in time (-XXX)

The alarm occurs if the PLC controller does not detect the closed cylinder input within the expected time, after the activation of the closing output.

• Check air pressure on the manometer. The set pressure must be 5 bar. In the pneumatic cabinet, check if the corresponding valve is activated. The valves have an LED activity indicator.

• Test the operation in manual mode, using the OPEN, CLOSE buttons.

• Check on the machine whether the mechanism can move freely and that there is no obstacle in front of it.

Check the operation of the magnetic position switches on the pneumatic cylinder. The LED indicator on the switch must be switched on at the limit positions. Adjust the switch position if necessary. The actual status of the switch inputs on the cylinder can be checked on the status screen; “ROTARY HOOK”.
