About

Stubs shot blasting machine is designed for cleaning remains of hydrated alumina from spent stubs, which are used in the aluminium production. The machine removes the rest of the bath from all sides of the spent stubs.

Stubs shot blasting machine is a chamber type machine with a non-continuous shotblasting mode of operation. The workpieces are hanged to power and free conveyor hook, which moves in the central part of the machine. To increases the process efficiency the workpiece is rotated during the shotblasting.

To reduce wear on the machine, all sides of shot blasting chamber are covered with wear resistant manganese steel plates. The system for continuous return and cleaning of the abrasive together with efficient blasting wheels made of wear resistant materials enable high efficiency of the shot blasting machine.
